That’s significantly safer than every job I ever worked on. We’d be using two ladders leaning on the wall, a stage stuck between them at a weird angle, no railing of any sort. The only thing we ever did with any safety in mind, was drive stakes at the bases of the ladders. Things you never saw on our job site: hard hats, ear plugs, safety glasses, fall protection of any kind, work boots. We had a guy for years who would wear mesh shorts (commando ... I wish I didn’t know that) and slip-on clogs up on ladders and on top of roofs.

BroInLaw fell off a ladder painting his house almost ten years ago - shattered wrist and ankle from about 10 feet up onto the cement driveway.

The company I work for is super big on safety. The latest policy is Mandatory reporting. Basically if you ignore someone else violating safety you as well as that person can be punished for it, up to and including being fired.

As a result of all their training on safety, I pick out all the safety violations on HGTV.

It looks fine to me, as in I’d be comfortable with it. The only times I’ve had my My hard hat hit were me whacking into something. The only things that have fallen near me would have killed outright.
